Allocate 1,200 tons of rice as aid relief to the poor
(Quang Binh Website) - The Provincial People's Committee on Feb 22 approved Decision No.370/QD-UBND to distribute rice as aid relief from the Prime Minister to districts and city in the Lunar New Year festival and the between-crop period in 2014.
Accordingly, 1,200 tons of rice for second phase was distributed to the recipients, including Le Thuy district (100 tons), Quang Ninh (70 tons), Dong Hoi (40 tons), Bo Trach (300 tons), Quang Trach (300 tons), Tuyen Hoa (190 tons) and Minh Hoa (200 tons).
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with the Thanh Hoa State Reserves and the People's Committee of districts and city to distribute the subsidized rice to needy people.
