The Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company is the subsidiary of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, the state-owned enterprise under the administration of Ministry of Defense.

The company has sufficient capacity to provide helicopter services in the following areas: oil and gas exploration and exploitation, MIA Program, helicopter tourism, search and rescues and other aviation services required by customers.

At the meeting, representative of VNHN represented and made a cooperation agreement on some matters involved to tourism activities in the province such as landing field for helicoper; a plan providing for rescue work at tourist sites; flight schedule, price and route; and the plan for pilot flight route to Khe Gat, En Cave, Son Doong Cave, Tu Lan Cave and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park from April 20 to May 05, 2014.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee applauded and highly appreciated VNHN's investment cooperation in Quang Binh and stressed that the Company need to have the plan to draw customers using flight services and ensure safety for tourists. In addition, he also said that the province will consider to sign an agreement with the Company on the plan providing for rescue for tourists.

Vice Chairman Tran Van Tuan stressed that 2014 marks a series of important events of Quang Binh province such as the 410th anniversary of establishment of the province, 25th anniversary of reestablishment of the province, 55th anniversary of opening Truong Son road and the 1st conference on investment promotion of Quang Binh province held in April 2014.
