VietJetAir opens new air route between HCM city and Quang Binh

Accordingly, the low-cost carrier, VietJetAir is expected to open a new flight route connecting Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city to Quang Binh in May or June.
Mr. Vu Pham Nguyen Tung said that VietjetAir will open HCM city - Dong Hoi flight and is expects to open further route from Dong Hoi to Ha Noi in a near future, adding that VietjetAir will continue expanding its inbound fights to key economic areas of the Asia - Pacific.
In addition, VietjetAir suggested that Quang Binh province needs to have a specific plan relating to the opening of new air route such as box-office system and relevant policies.
At the meeting, Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secreatary of Party Committee of Quang Binh province noted that Quang Binh would create all favorable conditions and quickly resolve the difficulties faced by VietjetAir and all investors in order to accelerate their projects in Quang Binh.
Quang Binh is looking forward to the opening of new air route of VietjetAir", he added, hoping that Vietject Air would accelerate the project implementation to launch new air route in May this year.
Currently, VietJetAir has 11 aircrafts and will buy 7 new aircrafts by the end of 2014, thereby bringing the total to 18. It operates 22 domestic and international flight routes, and provides 12.600 seats per week for passengers.
