The event was attended by Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and leaders of ministers and central agencies.

On the side of the province, there was Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of departments and branches and people in the province.

The programme offered an opportunity for audiences to learn about historical tradition of the motherland and people of Quang Binh.

The program gathered 11 art groups from provinces and cities across the country with numerous songs and dances, featuring cultural characters of the locality and offering praise to the Party, Uncle Ho, General Vo Nguyen Giap, land and people of Quang Binh and achievements made by cadres and people of Quang Binh during historical periods.

The stage was carefully designed in the open air with 3,000 seats, serving delegates and audiences. Despite the rain was heavy, the program still drew the participation of thousands of people.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee affirmed and honored values of the long-time cultural and historical tradition of Quang Binh land and stressed that in the foundation and development, Quang Binh has named such as Bo Chinh, Lam Binh, Minh Linh, Tan Binh and Tay Binh. In 1604, the name of Quang Binh was created since then.

Quang Binh has a distinctive place in Vietnam’s history, as it is a converge venue for many of Vietnam’s great cultures, including Viet Muong-Champa, Dong Son-Sa Huynh, and Thang Long-Phu Xuan.

The province is the birthplace of many Vietnamese heroes and geniuses, such as Duong Van An, Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh, top ranking general Vo Nguyen Giap and many more other outstanding people who have a great contribution to the national revolution.

Closing the program, a sparkling fireworks was performed at Nhat Le River to successfully end the 410th founding anniversary of Quang Binh province.
