More than 1,999 tons of rice for needy people in Quang Binh during between-crop period
Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to put aside over 5,200 tons of rice from the Nationall Reserve for five provinces during the between-crop period.
They included Ha Nam province with 1,344.24 tonnes of rice, Quang Binh province with 1,999.395 tonnes, Binh Dinh province with 700 tonnes, Lai Chau province with 713.2 tonnes and Kon Tum province with 466.875 tonnes.
The Prime Minister asked the People’s Committees of the aforesaid provinces to get the rice and provide the food relief to needy people.
Earlier, the Prime Minister also put aside 1,544.43 tons of rice from the National Reserve for two provinces of Dien Bien and Lang Son to provide the food relief to poor people during the betwee-crop period at the beginning of 2016.
