Netherlands Development Organization donates nearly VND2.9 billion to enhance leadership of women in agribusiness
The project is devoted to promote socio-economic development of localities, reduce sustainable poverty, enhance gender equality and respond to climate change.
With a total expenditure of nearly VND2.9 billion, the project includes a series of major activities such as promoting agribusiness in the enterprises and cooperatives under the women leadership; training skills on building and developing trade name and geographical indications for cooperatives and production establishments; strengthening community communications; enhancing capacity for local partners on gender equality, etc.
The Provincial People's Committeee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Women's Union, the Cooperative Alliances and related units and localities to receive and effectively use source of aids in line with the State's regulations on managing and using source of foreign non-governmental aids.
