Quang Binh province: sea economic development in close combination with tourism
The meeting grasped viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party and State thoroughly in the implementation of Vietnam sea strategy to year 2020 and building a sustainable economy when our country is a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
The Party Committee of Quang Binh province ratified the action program to exploit effectively potentials and strengths of sea, coastal region in close combination with building security, national defense and defending the country's sovereignty. From now to 2020, Quang Binh has established economic zones in coastal region in close combination with Hon La Seaport, associated sea economic development with sea tourism; dealt with social problem in coastal region; build infrastructure in traffic in coastal region from Quang Trach district to Le Thuy district. Up to 2020, the province strives to bring up the GDP rate of sea tourism to more than 20%; raise the living standard of the coastal people to double now, bringing up average income of coastal people to US$ 1500 per year.
