The reception was attented by representatives of the relevant departments and a mission of Australian embassy.

On behalf of provincial leader, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai briefly introduced on natural conditions, culture, tourism and situation of socio-economic development of the province in the past time.

Chairman Hoai highly evaluated Australia's assistance to local people in difficult areas through on-going projects and expressed his hope that Australian embassy in Vietnam will create favorable conditions to help Australian businesses invest in Quang Binh, especially tourism, mining and vocational training.

At the reception, Australian ambassador Hugh Borrowman affirmed the traditional relation for comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Australia in general and between Quang Binh with Australia in particular over the past 40 years.

Mr Hugh Borrowman proposed that Quang Binh continues to create conditions for Australian businesses to put more investment into the province, especially mining, contributing to strengthen traditional relation between two nations.
