National sciencific workshop named "Quang Binh - 410 years of establishment and development"
Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council delivered a speech to congratulate the workshop
The one-day workshop drew the participation of Prof. Phan Huy Le, President of VAHS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Head of the Vietnam Institute of History, more than 200 delegates and nearly 90 scientists and researchers from the associations of science, institutes of research, universities and scientific organizations throughout the country.
On the side of the province, there were Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, among others.
61 speeches made at the workshop came from 38 doctors, of which 01 academician, 05 professors, 12 associate professors and 01 scientific doctor. Discussions focused on three major topics, including the formation and development of Quang Binh land, Quang Binh in the space of pre-historic culture and Quang Binh in the period of premodern, modern and contemporary history.
The workshop aimed to synthetize research results and clearly define the scientific connotation of the space of history, culture, life, careers and contributions of celebrities and residents in the formation and development of Quang Binh land.
This was an opportunity to express the gratitude to the forefathers who were credited with building and protecting the motherland, as well as affirm and honor historical and cultural values and revolutionary tradition of Quang Binh land.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Tien Dung opened the workshop
Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Tien Dung briefly reviewed the process of the establishment and development of Quang Binh province and affirmed the unique values of historical and cultural tradition of Quang Binh to the nation.
In the congratulation speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Ngoc Binh stressed that the "Quang Binh - 410 years of establishment and development" workshop has an important significance to Quang Binh province, aiming at upholding the values of education, building up the good tradition of the motherland and serving the cause of building and protecting the fatherland.
The Secretary expressed his thanks and highly evaluated research results of scientists and scientific organizations throughout the country.
