Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung, Head of the local organising board of Miss Grand International 2017 presided over the meeting.

Under the plan, the Miss Grand International 2017 contestants will be present in Quang Binh on October 9th to compete the national costume round of Miss Grand International 2017.

At present, the province is urgently completing work of preparations for the pageant such as reception, accommodations, means of transport and popularisation to local people, domestic and foreign friends.

Miss Grand International 2017 attracts contestants from 80 countries around the world. The event will take place in three localities of Quang Binh, Kien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.

A series of activities will also be taken place in Quang Binh from October 10 to 14, including visiting Thien Duong Cave, travelling with tuktuk car across Nhat Le river, participating in social activities, tasting Quang Binh food, sand skiing in Quang Phu, making conical hat, etc.

At the meeting, participants contributed many ideals to complete preparation for the national costume round of Miss Grand International 2017.

Speaking at the meeting, head of the local organising board of the Miss Grand International 2017 stressed that the pageant is a good opportunity to introduce and spread the image, people and tourism of Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular to domestic and foreign friends.

He asked the related units and localities to raise the spirit of responsibility to complete the final preparations for the pageant, ensuring security and order, information, environmental sanitation, food hygience and safety, promoting propaganda on Miss Grand International 2017, etc.
