Typically, The Mine Advisory Group (MAG) has provided US$3.9 million for a landmine clearance project; the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) has provided US$948.936 for community management project; the East Meets West Foundation has carried out many projects of improving output-based community sanitation, Spell scholarships with total aids of US$612.458; the Marga and Water Boll Foundation has provided US$526.443 for community-based projects on disaster risk management...
In 2016, all levels, agencies and localities will promote the NGOs aid mobilization, give top priority to the fields which meet local demand and the strength of organizations; take policies to expand international relation, boost a good relationship with international organizations and foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam; encourage NGOs in cooperating aids in the province.
Besides, the province also defines the prioritized fields such as construction of health infrastructure, fresh and hygienic water, epidemic prevention; community healthcare; reproductive health; nutrition, quality of education, scholarship grants, teacher training, special education; educational exchange; alleviation of war consequences; HIV/AIDS; vocational training; persons with disability; business development support; development of traditional crafts; poverty reduction research; protection of environment and wild animals...
The funded projects will carry out in some areas sharing difficult socio-economic conditions and disaster-affected areas. Benefaciaries are poor and vulnerable people, especially women, children and persons with disability.
