In 2017, budget revenue at IPs and EZs reached VND280 billion

 (Quang Binh Portal) - According to information from the Provincial Management Board of Economic Zones, the province has so far had 105 investment projects with a total registered capital of over VND41,430.7 billion at the industrial parks (IPs) and economic zones (EZs), went up to 65 projects and VND27,000 billion in investment capital from the 2006-2010 period.
 Of which, 34 projects with total registerd capital of VND3,263.73 billion have been attracted at the four IPs, 48 projects with a total investment of VND37,762.81 billion at the Hon La EZ and 23 projects with a total investment of VND406.46 billion at the Cha Lo EZ.

Especially, 06 foreign investment projects with a total investment of USD 430 million have been attracted at IPs and EZs.

In 2017, total budget revenue at the IPs and EZs reached approximately VND280 billion. This result has affirmed the role and position of IPs and EZs in creating value of industrial production and export turnover, contributing to increasing budget revenues and solving jobs for local laborers, etc.

In the upcoming time, the Management Board of EZs will speed up the reform of administrative procedures, improve mechanism and policies to create favorable conditions for investors to accelerate the progress of implementing the key projects at EZs and IPs, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the locality.
