The delegation paid a visit and presented gifts to Ma Lieng ethnic minority people in Chuoi village and Cao village of Lam Hoa commune.

During his visit, Chairman encouraged local people to speed up production, improve their lives and eliminate unsound customs and asked local authorities to create conditions on land and give a capital support for the people to develop production.

On the same day, the delegation also had a working session with Kim Hoa commune. This is the most difficult locality in Tuyen Hoa district with a high rate of poor households (over 44%).

At the working session, Chairman highly evaluated the efforts made by local authorities and people in economic development in the past time, especially in the fields of afforestation, rubber growing, animal husbandry and building a new rural life.

Chairman Hoai also asked local authorities to take specific measures to decrease rate of poor households to 24% by 2015; create all conditions for local people to develop the economy and improve their income, contributing to eliminating hunger and reducing poverty in sustainable manner.
