Steering Committee of the 5th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park acknowledged as the World Natural Heritage: deploy the plan to prepare for anniversary
Mrs. Pham Thi Bich Lua, member of the Provincial Committee of the Party, Permanent Vice-chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organization Board presided over the meeting.
This activity aims to summarize the work of conservation and promotion of values of heritage; increase the people's awareness of protection of heritage; concurrently propagandize and popularize tourism potentials and unique values of heritage.
Under the plan, the anniversary will be held solemnly in Son Trach commune (Bo Trach district) in end July 2008. Moreover, other activities will be also taken place to welcome the anniversary, including: musical performance with the North Central provinces, opening ceremony of the eco-tourism route in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Nghe temple festival, fair and folk games.
The Organization Board assigned units and localities to quickly deploy activities to welcome the 5th anniversary Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park acknowledged as the World Natural Heritage.
