Quang Binh People's Committee has a working session with delegation of Nakhon Phanon College of Agriculture and Technology

(Quang Binh Website) - In co-operative program between Quang Binh University (QBU) and Royal Thai University, after attending the musical performance with cadres, lecturers and students of QBU, in the morning of February 21 2008, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of Nakhon Phanon College of Agriculture and Technology led by Dr.Vanida Hongmaneerat.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on the side of the province, there were Permanent Vice-Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thi Bich Lua; Dr. Bui Khac Son, Vice Rector of QBU together with representatives of some related departments and branches in the province.

At the working, Vice-chairwoman Pham Thi Bich Lua answered some questions relating to the province's policy to QBU. QBU was established on the basis of upgrading Quang Binh Pedagogic College. This is a great effort of the provincial leaders and all lecturers, staffs, students and the people of Quang Binh. QBU is a multi-branches university, not only trains students at university level but also train at various levels, such as: college, secondary school and vocational training. Although QBU was newly established in nearly three years, QBU has obtained many achievements in training and education for domestic and foreign students. At present, QBU has 78 overseas students in the Thailand's universities, especially in Nakhon Phanon College. The province has also had many policies to help students who are studying in Thailand and other countries.

In order to boost the co-operation in education, training and scientific research with depth and high quality, and to strengthen the sentimental relationship between the countries in the tendency of integration, the province together with QBU is now having many policies to improve the quality of education; upgrade the infrastructure and facilities to create a good condition for its students to study well.

On behalf of the delegation, Dr.Vanida Hongmaneerat addressed to thank the province for the help and hoped that the co-operative relationship between two universities would be a bridge to promote the friendly sentiment between two nations Thai-Viet. In the coming time, the College will create favorable condition for lecturers and students of Quang Binh to study in Thailand.
