Over the past 20 years, many generations of teacher and pupil of Dao Duy Tu High School have overcome many difficulties and challenges to incessantly develop. Dao Duy Tu High School had the honour of a visit from General Vo Nguyen Giap in 1993 and 1998; was granted the 3rd rank Labor Medal conferred by the State President and recognized as a national-standard school in 2006. It also was awarded many Certificates of Merit by the Government, Ministry of Education and Training, ministry-level agencies and the Provincial People's Committee.
