In the opening speech, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Department Nguyen Huu Hoai emphasized that the 3rd Quang Binh Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress was to sum up patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2006-2010 and to put forward orientation for the province’s emulation movement from now to 2015. The Congress was an opportunity to respect and praise exemplary collectives and individuals in patriotic emulation movement in all fields, contributing to successfully implement the targets and duties set by the 15th Provincial Party Congress.

Addressing the Congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Ngoc Binh acknowledged and praised excellent achievements that collectives and individuals obtained in patriotic emulation movement in the past five years. Chairman asked all levels of Party, authorities, front and unions need to have solutions to strongly develop patriotic emulation movement, contributing to successfully implement the process of renewal for the target of “wealthy people, strong country, just and civilized society”.

Respect individuals for their excellent achievements

On this occasion, State President awarded Labour Medal to excellent 24 collectives and 47 individuals, and awarded the title of national model workers to 01 individual. The government granted the excellent emulation flag to 11 collectives for their excellent achievements in patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2005-2009.
