The project will be expected to have a total area of 4,000 ha with an investment of USD40 million. The first phase of the project will be carried out in Kim Thuy commune (Le Thuy) to develop local advantaged agricultural products according to the closed process from cultivating and processing to consuming and exporting. The second phase will pay attention to investment in the food processing factories according to the modern way

The project’s objective is to explore advantages in agricultural land in difficult areas and promote potentials of available agricultural products of locality such as sweet potato, cassava, peanut and maize. The project also aims to promote high-tech application in agricultural production to improve quality and productivity of crop plants and to form new farming models, contributing to the local economic development.

Addressing the working, Vice-chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang applauded the Linh Thanh Company Limited and South Korea investors for their investment in high-tech agriculture in Quang Binh and expressed his support in implementing the project of Fico model farm in Quang Binh. Vice-chairman also asked related agencies and the company to learn more about solutions to complete the project in the next time.
