The 12th Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival opens

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee lights the traditional flame to open the provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival, |
The event attracts the participation of 1,300 athletes from 39 units and schools in the whole province.
The athletes will compete in male football, outdoor athletics, swimming, chess, table tennis, badminton, foot shuttlecock and indoor volleyball.
The festival will be taken place during three days from Feb 22 to Feb 24, 2012.

The provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival aims at encouraging Quang Binh’s province youth to improve their physical power, maintaining and speeding up movement of physical exercises to follow the great example of Uncle Ho.
This is also an opportunity to seek young talented athletes for the provincial teams to join the 8th National Phu Dong Sports Festival which will be held in Can Thoi city.
