Le Thuy district: nearly VND50 billion mobilized from people to build new rural areas
The district has newly invested in construction of 6.5km of inter-commune road; solidified nearly 16km of inter-village road; completed construction of 02 new schools; deleted 125 temporary houses; newly built 05 pump stations and solidified nearly 12km of irrigation canals. A total realized investment for the national target program on building new rural areas was estimated at reaching over VND183 billion.
Over the past time, Le Thuy district has also given many supports for production development, developed business models to improve income and reduce rate of poor households according to the standards for building new rural areas.
In addition, the district mobilized 2,670 households to donate land, assets and working days with a total value of over VND37 billion and contributed around VND12 billion in cash to build new rural areas.
In order to fulfilling the national target program on building new rural areas, Le Thuy district continues speeding up investment and upgrading traffic infrastructures; promoting propaganda and mobilizing all human resources to join hand in hand to build new rural areas.
