Groundbreaking ceremony of domestic water supply project of Quang Trach district

(Quang Binh Website) - A groundbreaking ceremony of domestic water supply project was held on March 10 in Quang Son commune, Quang Trach district.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Torda Eszter, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Vietnam; Mr Ha Hung Cuong, Minister of Justice; Mr Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr Nguyen Huu Hoai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of provincial-level departments and branches and Quang Trach district.

Groundbreaking ceremony of domestic water supply project of Quang Trach district

The domestic water supply project of Quang Trach district using mixed credit capital of Hungarian government has a total investment of EUR22,931.694 (equivalently VND642,087 million), of which total investment for first phase is estimated at nearly EUR12,609,984.

With a capacity of 22,000 m3 a day, the project will supply domestic water for 130,572 persons and 29,840 households in 22 communes along Gianh River of Quang Trach district, accounting for 63% of population in the whole district. The source of water will be exploited in Rao Nan river of Quang Son commune, Quang Trach district.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee thanked Hungarian embassy in Vietnam for implementation of the domestic water supply project of Quang Trach district. Chairman asked relevant agencies, units and localities to mobilize all resources to complete the project as scheduled plan, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the project.

On behalf of provincial leader, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai issued an order to start construction of the domestic water supply project of Quang Trach district.
