A ceremony to mark 410 years of establishment and development of Quang Binh province is a political event of the province, aiming to review historical tradition of the process of formation and development of Quang Binh land and inspire the pride of glorious tradition of the province since its establishment.

The event also aims to educate the younger generations about the national tradition of "when drinking water, remember its source" and honor historical values and revolutionary tradition of Quang Binh homeland.

Under the plan, the programme includes an art performance, flag ceremony, tradition torch relay, opening speech, parada and etc. Duration for the event is expect to take place from April 8th to 12th, 2014.

Also in the frame of a series of activities, the province will organize an exhibition on socio-economic achievements of Quang Binh province at the provincial museum.

At the meeting, participants also discussed and contributed a lot of ideas to preparatory work for the event.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung asked the subcommittee to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to well implement preparatory work, contributing to successfully organize the 410th anniversary of the provincial establishment, making a good impression on international and domestic friends and tourists.
