The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Tuan; representatives of relevant departments and branches, and the People's Committee of Dong Hoi city.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai warmly welcomed Sakon Nakhon delegation's visit to Quang Binh to promote trade cooperation between two provinces.

"This visit has a great significance, representing cooperation and investment policies of Vietnam and Thailand in general, Quang Binh and Sakon Nakhon in particular over the past time", he stressed.

In order to strengthen cooperation in trade activities, Sakon Nakhon Govenor Bunxong Tesamanisathit suggested opening a bus route from Quang Binh to Sakon Nakhon and vice versa with the aim of meeting the demand of the transport of passengers and goods between two provinces, and hoping that Quang Binh province will create favorable conditions for Sakon Nakhon to display and introduce their goods in the province.

On this occasion, he also sent an invitation to leaders of Quang Binh provine to visit Sakon Nakhon province in the coming time.

In response, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai also introduced potentials and strengths of Quang Binh province and some priority policies for investment attraction in all sectors, especially in tourism.

Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai exchanged his views on suggestions for cooperation of Sakon Nakhon province, noting that Quang Binh and Sakon Nakhon need to discuss and build up detailed plans according to regulations of Law on Transportation of two nations.

In order to expand cooperation and investment in trade sector, Quang Binh province will create conditions for enterprises to exchange goods and do business with each other, he said.
