East Meets West: donates USD 91,276 to the study support program
(Quang Binh Website) - The provincial People"s Committee on September 9 issued Decision No.2474/QD-UBND receiving a non-governmental aids from the East Meets West. Accordingly, the East Meets West will donate USD 91,276 to Quang Binh province to implement the Study Support Program (SPELL).
Expectedly, the program will be carried out in Bo Trach, Minh Hoa, Tuyen Hoa and Le Thuy districts during the period of 2014-2015.
The program's objective is to grant scholarships with the objects such as books, notebooks, clothes, studying aids, bicycles, issurances... contributing to helping poor students to get to school.
The provincial People's Committee asked the Quang Binh Study Promotion Association, relevant units and localities to receive and use the donation effectively, ensuring the State's regulations on managing and using non-governmental aids and others.
