Department of Transport grants house of gratitude
(Quang Binh Website) - On the occasion of General Vo Nguyen Giap's 97th birthday (August 28 1911 - August 25 2008), the Department of Transport has recently held a ceremony to grant house of gratitude to Mrs Cao Thi Dieu in Hoa Son commune, Minh Hoa district.
The house has an area of 64m2, worth VND30 million, contributed by all cadres and workers of Department of Transport. This is a meaning activity to respond the campaign "Each organisation, each individual helps one humanitarian address", launched by the Vietnam Red Cross.
Knowing that, previously, the Department of Transport also donated VND20 million and 20 tons of cement to give Hoa Son commune to repair a stretch of the flood-prone road.
