Minh Hoa is a highland district of Quang Binh province with its population of about 45,699 people; the people's life here copes with many difficulties, especially ethnic minority people. In order to help the people reduce difficulties, with the support of the Program 134, the district built hundreds of houses for ethnic minority people from 2005 to now. Concretely, the Program 134 of the Government invested over VND15,611 million to build houses and other social welfare projects for Minh Hoa district. Of which, VND3,351 million was given to build four fresh water projects; VND10,369 million to build 1,039 houses and support capital for reclaiming production for 507 households.
