Cam Lien industrial park project

CAM LIEN INDUSTRIAL PARK PROJECT

1. Location for  the project

Estimated, the park is located 40km from Dong Hoi city to the south, bordering National Route 1A and Provincial Road 16 connecting to National Road 9B. It is about 500-1,000m from the coast and reaches the depth of 22-27m.

2. Objectives of the project

- To build a complex industrial park which develops in accordance with FDI enterprises’ strengths with many particular preferential investment policies. The park is a material basis for strategic partnerships and international economic integration.

- To target at domestic market and neighbouring countries in ASEAN such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and to catch up opportunities from the TTP agreement for export to US.

1,500 - 2,000 hectares

4. Total estimated investment capital

VND 3,350 billion

5. Expected effectiveness of the project

-  Bring high profits for investors.

- Strengthen cooperation and developement relationship, especially the province’s strengths.

6. Natural conditions and current situations

Cam Lien Industrial Park is projected in the coastal land with a relatively flat terrain.

Current conditions:

- This is a vacant land with some casuarina trees; the residents is distributed outside the industrial park's land, therefore, there is no cost of site clearance. The environment for high-tech agricultural projects will not be affected because of no architectures, factories and residential areas nearby the industrial park. Moreover, traffic is relatively convenient.

- Currently, there is a road in the IP linking to National Route 1A and the Branch 2 of National Route 1A crossing the IP will be completed soon. There is also a 3-phase electrical transformer station in the Industrial Park.

The projects in Cam Lien Industrial Park:

- A deep-water sea port for circulation of 200,000 - 300,000 ton vessels.

- A large-scale steel factory.

- A thermo-electric center with capacity from 1,200 to 4,800 MW.

- Automobile production, construction equipment, information technology, software;

- Logistics.

- Leather, medicines, beverages (soda, fruit juices).
