A TOURIST ATTRACTION TO OFFER COMMUNITY TOURISM - TRADE VILLAGE TOURISM IN BA DON TOWN, QUANG BINH PROVINCE

1. Proiect goals and project items:

- Establish trade village tourism areas and spots; step by step exploit the typical products of trade village tourism to diversify tourism products of the province; promote cultural, historical values in association with local traditional brand and products to make trade-village tourism become a highlight, being a special tourism product of Quang Binh province.

2. Project location:

- In 2015, a number of villages will be selected for being developed into trade-village tourism spots. These villages will be constructed in period 2016-2020, including:

+ Forging, casting, carpentry trade village: Nhan Hoa village, Quang Hoa commune;

+ Traditional knitting trade village: Tho Don village, Quang Tho commune;

+ Traditional hand-made palm leaf conical hats: Ha Thon village, Quang Tan commune;

+ Traditional hand-made palm leaf conical hats: Van Loi village, Quang Hai commune;

+ Traditional hand-made palm leaf conical hats: Tho Ngoa village, Quang Thuan commune;

+ Traditional hand-made palm leaf conical hats: La Ha village, Quang Van commune;

3. Total estimated investment capital:

- VND 500 billion

- There is provincial budget for construction of 04 areas for product display with a total investment of VND 08 billion (VND 02 billion each area), and financial support of VND6 billion for vocational training (5 years x VND200 million x 6 courses/year)

- The investor's capital: VND486 billion

4. Forms of investment:

- 100% capital of the investor

5. Involved agencies:

- Project owner: the Investor and Quang Binh provincial authority

- The project is valued by: the Quang Binh Department of Trade and Industry;

- Approving agency: Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.
