A requiem for martyrs and heroes at national historical relic of Len Ha cave
Attending the requiem was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Board of the requiem Nguyen Tien Hoang; Most Venerable, member of the VBS Executive Council, head of the Quang Binh Provincial VBS Executive Board Thich Tanh Nhiep together with representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the army communications division, Vietnam Television, central agencies and buddhists across the country.

Delegates attended the requiem
Len Ha Cave, recogized as a national historical relic, is the place to mark glorious victories of soldiers and staff of the communications division died in the cave during the war against America. This place witnessed heroic sacrifices of 13 soldiers and cadres of the Company 09, the regiment 134 on July 2nd, 1972. Most of martyrs came from the Northern provinces, including 6 martyrs from Phu Tho province.
The relic is situated in Len Ha mountain area with a total area of over 47,000 meters.

Offered incense and stood in memory of their comrades who died in the Len Ha cave.
At the memorial service, delegates, monks, buddhists and local people spent a silence minute in memory of heroic martyrs who died for national independence and liberation in the Len Ha cave.

Provincial leaders offerd incenses at the requiem
With the solemn Buddhist ceremonies, the requiem expressing the moral philosophy "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation is a good cultural tradition of Vietnam, helping monks and buddhists pay tribute to heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland.

Thousands of people attended the requiem
Besides, the requiem is also an opportunity to honor heroic sacrifices for the national independence and reunification of 13 communication cadres and soldiers died in Len Ha cave, Thanh Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district on July 2nd, 1972; rise the spirit of national pride, strengthen propaganda on conservation and promotion of historical values of Len Ha Cave national relic as well as spread the images of Quang Binh and promote local spriritual tourism to domestic and foreign friends.
