FLC Group donates VND4 billion to people hit by typhoon Doksuri

 (Quang Binh Portal) - On September 18, a delegation from the FLC Group led by Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung, Vice President of FLC Group visited and handed over gifts to storm-affected households in Quang Binh province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai together with representatives of the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and Quang Ninh district received the delegation.

FLC Group is the investor of the FLC Quang Binh Beach & Golf Resort (FLC Quang Binh) project which is currently carried out in Hai Ninh commune (Quang Ninh district).

In order to timely share difficulties and losses with local people hit typhoon Doksuri, a representative of FLC Group donated VND4 billion to help storm victims in Quang Binh overcome consequences and quickly resume their life.

On behalf of the authority and people of Quang Binh province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee provided more informations on overcoming consequences caused by the Storm No.10 and thanked FLC Group for assistance to storm-hit people.

Doksuri, the 10th storm arising in the East Sea this year and the strongest to hit Vietnam in many years, claimed nine lives, left four missing and 112 injured, according to reports from affected localities as of 10pm on September 16.

The typhoon also destroyed 1,185 houses, including 1,065 in Quang Binh, damaged 152,599 houses, broke 1,559 electric poles, sank seven fishing ships and 183 small fishing boats, damaged 29 sea dyke sections and many roads, and inundated nearly 4,500 hectares of rice and roughly 8,300 hectares of other crops.
