Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee speaked at the ceremony

As of September 2017, the mobilizing board of the "For the Poor" Fund received over 14.5 billion dongs from individuals, organizations and sponsors from both home and abroad in order to raise funds for charitable activities in the province. So far, nearly 100 poor households have been provided a financial support to build and repaired their houses; hundreds of poor households have been supported for production development with a total money of nearly 500 milion dongs; hundreds of the poor people and children have been provided a free medical check-up and given a financial support to help them go to school. Nearly 14,000 gifts and nearly 1.6 billion dongs have been presented to the poor households, etc.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee appealed all departments and branches, unions, units, enterprises, sponsors and people in the province for collection to raise the fund for the poor.

After the launching ceremony, nearly 8 billion dongs was collected to the fund for the poor from the provincial leaders and 117 departments, units and enterprises.

Speaking at the cerenomy, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee appealed to Quang Binh people from both home and abroad to uphold the national tradition of solidarity and mutual affections to assist the poor people in the provincial.

Secretary Quang believed that the "For the poor" Fund will continue receiving many supports from all levels, agencies, enterprises, sponsors and social community, especially the month for the poor in 2017.
