Traiting and burying the remains of 14 martyrs in Khe Sanh
14 martyrs' remains were discovered and collected by Economic - Defense Group 337 and are now buried at Khe Sanh Commune Martyrs' Cemetery.

On the morning of October 8, at Khe Sanh Commune Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri Province), a solemn memorial service was held to bury 14 martyrs' remains.
The remains of these 14 martyrs were discovered and exhumed by the Remains Collection Team of the 337th Economic and Defense Group (Military Region 4) in Xa Re village (Khe Sanh commune) from August 13 to September 22.

To find the martyrs' remains, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team dug 0.8 to 1m under the soil layer. The remains of martyrs were wrapped in the body bag, with bones, teeth and many relics such as umbrellas, umbrellas, bullet shells, information wires, shallots, pens, glass pipes, etc.
Notably, 1 of the 14 martyrs' remains found has a martyr's remains with a worn aluminum card engraved with the words "SH-18- 15X".

At the location where the martyrs' remains were discovered, previously a fierce battlefield, units of Division 304, Army Corps 2 participated in the fight on the front of Road 9 - Khe Sanh.
After the discovery and collection, 14 martyrs' remains were preserved and a memorial service and burial ceremony was held in accordance with regulations.

At the ceremony, representatives of the leaders of Quang Tri province, Economic - Defense Group 337, leaders of Khe Sanh commune, and a large number of cadres, soldiers and people offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to the martyrs. After that, 14 martyrs' remains were buried in the Khe Sanh Commune Martyrs' Cemetery.
