Improve knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention for students of Quang Binh University
(Quang Binh Website) - In order to propagandize, educate and improve basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention for young people and students, the Student Association of Quang Binh University in cooperation with the Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control held a training course on HIV/AIDS prevention for 48 students of Quang Binh University.
At the training course, students were introduced basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS, its harmful effects and prevention; real situation of HIV/AIDS in Quang Binh and nationwide, skills of communications and consultancy of HIV/AIDS prevention and control in the community.
The aim of the training course is to supply basic knowledge and solutions for HIV/AIDS prevention, concurrently help students learn more about harmful effects of HIV/AIDS, contributing to raising the awareness and responsibility of fight against HIV/AIDS. After finishing the course, these students will become the active propagandists and have responsibility to popularize their knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention for all people, especially young people.
