At the working, Province Chairman Phan Lam Phuong briefly introduced the ambassador to the province’s socio-economic development situation in past times and stated the advantages and difficulties in socio-economic development, especially development of tourism. He was very pleased to welcome Ambassador Mitsuo Sakaba's visit to Quang Binh and expressed his thanks to Japanese government in helping Quang Binh province for socio-economic development through ODA capital and some other projects. In the coming time, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong hoped that the ambassador would continue to create favorable conditions and attract Japanese enterprises to invest in Quang Binh, contributing to helping the province develop the economy.

Ambassador Mitsuo Sakaba pointed out that the goal of his visit to Quang Binh was to learn about the provincial socio-economic development situation, especially the tendency of the province's industrial development in the future.
