At the meeting, the Provincial Department of Emulation and Rewards reported of the plan for implementing the emulation movement “The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas” launched by the Prime Minister with the contents in accordance with 19 criteria of the national target programme on building new rural areas.

The emulation movement "Quang Binh joins hands to build new rural areas” is divided into two phases. The first phase is carried out in the period of 2011-2015 and second phase in the period of 2016-2020.

Addressing the meeting, Vice-chairman Tran Van Tuan asked the provincial Department of Emulation and Rewards in coordination with agencies and localities to respond and effectively implement the emulation movement “The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas” and "Quang Binh joins hands to build new rural areas" in the whole provine.
