Provincial leaders visit General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th, 1975-2015), the provincial top leaders on April 27th paid a visit to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s final resting place in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district.


Provincial leader burnt incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave

Attending the incense-offering ceremony was Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and representatives of departments and branches, among others.

At the incense-offering ceremony, provincial leaders laid a wreath and offered incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave and observed a minute of silence to express their gratitude in tribute to great contributions of the General, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a commander-in-chief of the Vietnam People’s Army, a famous general in the world and an outstanding son of Quang Binh motherland, who sacrificed his life for the cause of independence and liberation of the fatherland.
