10 suspension bridges handed over to residents before rainy season
(Quang Binh Portal) - Implementing the Government"s project on building 186 bridges in Northern mountainous provinces, Central and Central Highlands regions, from 2014 to now, 10 suspension bridges for first phase have been basically completed and handed over to residents in the province before rainy season, the Quang Binh Department of Transport said.
Accordingly, 08 suspension bridges have been put into use in 2015 such as Ban Ke bridge in Lam Hoa commune (Tuyen Hoa district), K-Reeng bridge in Dan Hoa commune, Thuan Hoa bridge in Hoa Son commune and Rôông bridge in Trong Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district)...
The opening to traffic for new bridges before rainy season will facilitate the transportation of local people, helping them promote socio-economic development and stabilize their lives.
Under the second phase of the project, Quang Binh will be added five suspension bridges, of which there are two concreted bridges and three suspension bridges.
