Industrial production index in October rose 3.7%
(Quang Binh Portal) - The industrial production in October and the first ten months of 2015 has remained a fair growth, of which some industries had a high growth such as food processing and clothing production.
The industrial production index in October was estimated to increase 3.7% compared to last month and rose 14.3% against October of 2014. In the first ten months, the industrial production index grew by 9.0% from the same period last year.
Of which, the processing and the manufacturing rose 9.9%; the electricity and gas supply rose 5.1%; water supply and waste treatment management increased 4.9%.
As of late October of 2015, some main industrial products was estimated to reach a fair growth, including: building stones up 3.6%, cassava up 11.8%, bottled beers up 3.9%, bricks up 9.6%, clinker pooclan up 17.6%, cement up 12.8%, trade electricity up 5.0%, running water up 5.4% from the same period last year.
In order to promote development of industrial sector, the province focuses on effective measures to give a support and solve difficulties for enterprises while encouraging them and people to use local products.
