Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue pays tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap
Attending the ceremony was Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang and representatives of related agencies and units.
In the solemn atmosphere, Deputy Prime Minister and the delegates offered incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap's tomb and spent a minute's silence in memory of the General - an excellent student of late President Ho Chi Minh, the first General and Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam People's Army, an outstanding person of Quang Binh homeland.
In front of the General's tomb, Deputy Prime Minister and provincial leaders promised that they will make their great efforts for the development of the homeland and country.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister presented gifts and encouraged soldiers of the Guard Team at the General's tomb in trying their best to fulfill the mission of guarding at the General’s tomb and serve visitors.
