The project has the implementation capital of 725,000 Euro (equivalent to about 18,850,000,000 VND), of which the non-refundable aid capital is 560,000 Euro (equivalent to about 14,560,000,000 VND); reciprocal capital is 165,000 Euro (equivalent to about 4,290,000,000 VND). Bo Trach District People's Committee will distribute this capital source to invest in building 03 community flood-proof houses.

Accordingly, the project will be implemented in 03 communes Hung Trach, Lien Trach, and Phuc Trach in Bo Trach district from 2022 to 2024 with the goal of enhancing resilience to natural disasters and minimizing damage caused by climate change for people in rural areas, especially disabled people in the coastal province of Quang Binh.

The project is funded by the Provincial Association for the Development of Disabled People. The project includes the main activities: building 03 flood-resistant community houses for the most flooded villages of 03 communes, with a capacity of about 200 people per a house and designed for vulnerable people, with priority given to disabled people; improving an early warning system; supporting 03 motorboats for the Disaster Risk Management Board to serve rescue work; assessing community-based disaster risk, preparing and printing of disaster risk maps. In addition, the project will also improve the knowledge and skills for the Disaster Risk Management Board at the commune level, the volunteer team, and the people through training courses on disaster risk prevention and management, and practicing disaster prevention and management.
