Accordingly, in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and Laos will organize Laos border friendship exchange program in 2022 including the following contents: Sports (volleyball) between the border management and protection forces of the two sides at Guard Station of Cha Lo International Border Gate.

Especially, the Lao side will organize the following activities: Welcoming the Vietnamese delegation to Laos to attend the program; the flag salute ceremony and painting for the milestone 528; planting friendship trees at Naphao International Border Gate; inauguration ceremony of the project "Light of the border area" presented by the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province to the people of Lang Khang village cluster at the Cultural House of Lang Khang village cluster, Bualapha district, Khammouane Muon province; visiting the stall opened with the price of 0 VND at the cultural house of Lang Khang village cluster, Bualapha district, Kham Muon province; organizing medical examination and treatment, distributing free medicines to the people and awarding scholarships "Strengthening children to school" at the cultural house of Lang Khang village, Bualapha district, Khammouane province.

Along with that, the Vietnamese side will also organize activities including: Witnessing bilateral patrols between the Guard Station of Cha Lo International Border Gate Border belonging to Quang Binh Border Guard Command and 312 Border Guard Company belonging to Military Command of Khammouane province; witnessing the signing ceremony between Ca Xeng Guard Station belonging to Quang Binh Border Guard Command with and 312 Border Guard Company belonging to Military Command of Khammouane province, Ca Roong, Con Roang, Lang Mo, and Lang Ho Border Guard Stations belong to Quang Binh Border Guard Command with 316 Border Guard Company belonging to Military Command of Khammouane province.

The activities to continue cultivating the tradition of great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and the States in general, between Quang Binh and Khammouane provinces, Savannakhet in particular, contributing to promoting propaganda and extensive education about the history of special relations between Vietnam - Laos and Laos - Vietnam so that the people, especially the younger generation, deeply understand the faithful relationship, thereby they are clearly aware of the responsibility and determination to protect and preserve. This is also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and friendship between border protection forces and the authorities and people of the two countries; improve the effectiveness of coordination in border management and protection, control of entry and exit, and fight against law violations and crime; participate in socio-economic development in border areas, contribute to maintaining territorial sovereignty and national border security, ensuring political security, social order and safety, creating favorable conditions for trade activities and economic development.
