On New Year's Eve to welcome the new year 2025, activities will take place at many locations in Quang Binh, with the highlight being two countdown programs and low-altitude fireworks displays at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area (Dong Hoi City) and Phong Nha Town (Bo Trach District).

On New Year's Eve 2025, Phong Nha town will host an art performance and countdown ceremony to welcome the new year, highlighting the message "Quang Binh - a natural, safe and different destination".

At Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area, a series of art and music performances will take place, creating a diverse entertainment space for tourists and locals. In particular, both locations will organize low-altitude fireworks displays for 15 minutes at New Year's Eve.

Expect a bright 2025

Mr. Hoang Xuan, a tourist from Hanoi, chose Quang Binh as a special destination for his New Year holiday. During this trip, he had the opportunity to visit Phong Nha Cave.

On the evening of December 31, Mr. Xuan plans to participate in the New Year countdown program in Phong Nha town. “I hope that this trip will be meaningful as I welcome the New Year in a new land, with friendly people and wonderful nature,” he shared.

On the morning of January 1, 2025, Quang Binh province will organize activities to welcome the first group of tourists to the province in the new year by air at Dong Hoi Airport. In 2024, Quang Binh welcomed about 5.2 million visitors, an increase of 15.3% compared to 2023, with total revenue from tourists reaching about 5,980 billion VND. With efforts and preparations for New Year events, the province hopes to continue attracting tourists, contributing to local socio-economic development.
