Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Tan meets and welcomes Bollywood film crew (India)
On the afternoon of July 30, 2025, Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with producers, directors, and actors from Bollywood (India), who came to Quang Tri to film the movie SILAA.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Vice Chairman Hoang Xuan Tan expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Bollywood film crew to shoot scenes at some of Quang Tri’s famous natural attractions such as Son Doong, Tu Lan, Hang Tien, Tan Hoa, and Phong Nha - Ke Bang, etc. He also provided information on the province’s tourism development orientation, expressing the hope of making Quang Tri a compelling destination for global cinema. He affirmed that the provincial government would create favorable conditions for the film crew to successfully complete their shoots in Quang Tri, thereby helping to spread the province’s unique and beautiful imagery to Indian and international audiences.

At the meeting, the producers, directors, and actors from Bollywood (India) expressed their sincere thanks for the warm and thoughtful welcome from Quang Tri province. They also praised the pristine beauty of the local landscapes and shared their filming schedule in the province, planned from 1 to 14 August, 2025.

Accordingly, this is the first Indian movie to be filmed inside the majestic and unique caves of Phong Nha - Ke Bang and other attractive destinations in Quang Tri, helping promote the image of Quang Tri's tourism to Indian audiences in particular and to the world in general.

With a total budget of approximately 4 million USD, SILAA is a romantic action film that tells a love story intertwined with elements of revenge, featuring intense action scenes and visually stunning cinematography.
Earlier, on the morning of July 30, at Dong Hoi Airport, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a heartfelt and warm welcome ceremony for the Bollywood film crew on their arrival in Quang Tri to film the movie.
