The mission made a visit to the Long Dai Forestry and Industry Company and construction sites of Dong Hoi Airport and Hon La Seaport. Leading representative of units and enterprises reported the achievements that the units obtained in 2007 to the provincial leaders. Accordingly, most of planned targets were completed and exceeded the plan. Concretely, the Long Dai Forestry and Industry Company exceed 18 targets, its turnover reached VND 86 billion (compared with the plan of VND 64 billion), contributed VND 9 billion to the provincial budget; planted over 1,000 ha of forestry, exceed 50% of the plan. The Dong Hoi Airport and Hon La Seaport are two key projects of the province. They are expected to be completed and operational on Tet holiday. However, in the past time, because of influence of the storm and flood, many works were damaged heavily but the units promised the provincial leaders that they would try their best to put the projects into use as soon as possible.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman praised the achievements that the units obtained in production and business, contributing to the provincial economic development. Concurrently, he also hoped the units would continue to bring into play the strengths and propose many effective measures to make a breakthrough in 2008.
