Viet Nam Red Cross Society aids Quang Trach people damaged by the Storm No.5
On October 6 2007, representative of Viet Nam Red Cross Society in cooperation with Quang Binh Red Cross Society paid a visit and presented gifts to typhoon-hit people in communes of Quang Hung, Quang Dong, Quang Phu (Quang Trach district) damaged by the Storm No.5.
On behalf of leader of the Society, Viet Nam Red Cross Society deputy general secretary Phung Van Hoan visited and shared the difficulties and losses that people in Quang Trach district suffered in the Storm No.5.
In this relief aid, it is known that Viet Nam Red Cross Society brought VND 30 million of cash and 300 boxes of aid relief to 300 families in Quang Binh Province. Total value of this relief aid was worth VND 135 million. On this occasion, Viet Nam Red Cross Society paid a visit and presented gifts to Mr. Dau Quang Hoat's family in Hoa Binh village, Quang Hung commune and Mr. Hoang Van Son's families in Tho Son village, Quang Dong commune who were badly damaged by the Storm No.5.
