PPC Standing Vice Chairman visits and presents gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Quang Ninh district

(Quang Binh Website) – On the 67th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Xuan Quang and his delegation on July 25 visited and presented gifts to policy families who credited with revolutionary services in Quang Ninh district.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee visited and presented gifts to some policy beneficiaries, including Nguyen Duc Quang, a ¼ wounded soldier in Cao Xuan village, An Ninh commune; Nguyen Manh Hoanh, a dioxin victim in Quang Xa village, Tan Ninh commune; Cao Van Toa, a ¼ wounded soldier in Ta Phan village, Duy Ninh commune; and Hoang Cong, a 1/3 sick soldier in Van La village, Luong Ninh commune.

During the visits, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presented gifts and expressed his deep gratitude to the great contributions made by wounded and sick soldiers to the cause of the national liberation and reunification as well as the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Standing Vice Chairman shared difficulties and encouraged policy families to continue upholding the revolutionary tradition and overcome difficulties in their lives to be good examples for the young generations to follow.

Besides, Standing Vice Chairman also asked local authorities to pay much attentions to "paying debts of gratitude" movements, uphold the tradition of “when drinking water, remember its resources”, and take care of the spiritual and material life of policy beneficiaries in the locality.
