Quang Binh People's Committee collects money to help Fund for poor people 2007

(Website Quang Binh) - In order to implement well the campaign "Day for poor people" and the plan "Deleting thatched cottages for poor households", concurrently respond the appeal of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province, in the afternoon of October 18 2007, the Secretariats of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Committee held a collection to help "For poor people" Fund 2007.

Standing Vice-chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Thi Bich Lua, Vice-chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province Nguyen Luong Binh and all officials of the Secretariats of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Committee attended.

Since 2002 to now, the campaign "Day for poor people" and the plan "Deleting thatched cottages for poor households" in Quang Binh province have been achieved good results, timely helping poor households develop production, contributing to the success of socio-economic targets and poverty reduction in Quang Binh province. In the whole province, 8,071 thatched cottages have so far been deleted with total mobilized capital of over VND35 billion. However, more than 3,800 households are now living in temporary houses and can't be enough ability to build or repair their houses so they are looking forward to your help.

At the collection, Vice-chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province Nguyen Luong Binh read calling letter of the Quang Binh Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee for assistant to "For poor people" Fund 2007. In order to help poor households build and repair their houses, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province calls for: Each soldiers, armed forces, civil servants and labors in the province makes minimum donation of a working day or an income day; each household in urban areas donates the minimum level of VND 10,000, coastal and mountainous areas VDN 5,000 each and small trader VND 20,000 each.

Then, Vice-chairman Pham Thi Bich Lua and all civil servants of the Secretariats of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Committee collected money for "For poor people" Fund 2007.
