Attending the working, there was Standing Vice-chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Thi Bich Lua and leading representatives of departments and branches in the province.

At the working, two sides reported situation of socio-economic development, national defense and security, work of building the Party, authority, Front and unions of each provinces; concurrently appreciated the obtained results of implementation of the Friendship Cooperative Agreement signed on October 3 2006 in Tha Khec town, Khamuon province between two provinces.

On behalf of the provincial leader, Chairman Luong Ngoc Binh expressed his happiness to welcome the Delegation's official visit to Quang Binh province and informed each other about obtained results in cooperative relation of two sides. In the past time, 10 students of Khamuon province were trained at Quang Binh technical secondary school and 10 others at Quang Binh University; two teachers were appointed to help Khamuon province in teaching Vietnamese for children of Khamuon. With the assistant of leaders, authority and people of Khamuon, work of search for remains of martyrs, experts and volunteers was carried out effectively, etc.

Addressing the working, Mr. Khambay Damlat highly appreciated the great achievements in socio-economic development that Quang Binh province obtained in the process of renovation, especially in poverty reduction in ethnic minority areas. On behalf of his Delegation, he expressed his thanks to warm welcome of Quang Binh province and honorably invited the top-ranking Delegation of Quang Binh province to pay a working visit to Khamuon province in the lasted time.

Closing the working, Chairman Luong Ngoc Binh hoped to continuously boost further comprehensive friendship cooperative relation between two provinces, concurrently proposed cooperative orientation in the coming time. Concretely, strengthen activities in investment promotion, trade and tourism; promulgate incentive policies and create favorable conditions for enterprises to invest in production and business; organize to survey and exploit tourist sites along the Viet-Laos border line; promote information exchange, cooperate to control smuggling, illegal transport of commodities between two sides. Quang Binh province will help neighboring province in education, creating condition for cadres and students of Khamuon province to take part in studying in Quang Binh. Quang Binh Military Headquarters will also assist the Military Headquarters of Khamuon province to build the local armed forces, have close combination in patrol and protection of border security.
