Steering Board for the five-year anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as World Natural Heritage held the 3rd meeting to check its preparation

(Quang Binh Website) - On April 28 2008, the Steering Board for the five-year anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as World Natural Heritage held the 3rd meeting to check the preparation for the five-year anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as World Natural Heritage. Permanent Vice-chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Board Pham Thi Bich Lua presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, the departments and branches reported work of preparations for the festival, including: work of propaganda and plan for cultural and art performances, the Nghe Temple festival in Son Trach commune, fair, making documentary film and report on Phong Nha - Ke Bang, building some works to serve the festival. The departments and branches suggested the Steering Board should pay much attention to food safety, environmental sanitation and public order in the festival.

Addressing the meeting, Vice-chairman Pham Thi Bich Lua stressed, "This is an important event, so all departments and localities need to complete the works according to the scheduled plan. The activities should be suitable for the festival and make a strong impression on tourists when attending the festival.
