Export turnover in nine months achieved 90.5% of plan

(Quang Binh Website) - According to figure from the Department of Planning and Investment, a lot of big changes have been seen in export activity in the first nine months of this year.

The total export turnover in nine months was estimated to reach US$49.8 million, achieved 90.5% of the plan and increased 16.3% against the same period. Main exported products included rubber (achieved US$44.4 million, accounted for 89% of total export turnover, increased 59.8%), saw wood (achieved US$1.862 million, equal to 21.1%), pine resin (achieved US$1.557 million, increased 46.4%), and aquatic products (achieved US$817.6 thousand, equal to 97% compared with the same period).

It is known that China is a foreign market which holds a large market share with the value of US$46.886 million, making up 94.2%. Besides, other countries such as Japan, South Korea, Laos and Pakistan are also big export markets for the province's products, making up the density of 5.8%. The goal in the remaining months is to continuously promote export activity, striving to complete the targets of year 2008.
